THe OEM one will work just the same I would of thought but it will not mute the pioneer unit unless pioneer to a canbus interface. You may find the pioneer bluetooth works better as it will display everything on the screen.

Out of interest why the PIoneer and not the SEAT OEM RNS510 Sat Nav that you can pick up for £600 and will work with your existing bluetooth?

never really thought of it to be honest. I got the pioneer on a half price offer for 400 quid. I had a bluetooth pioneer last car i had and was fine i just like the voice dialling from the wheel.

I am using the canbus interface and pioneer patch lead. Looks like a hell of a lot of wiring looms to hide though!

ok so when you receive a call whilst listening to a cd does it not turn off the cd?

had the unit fitted today and now the oem does not work. it does operate and still says insert phone and i can still connect my phone to it. but no noise from it!![:@]:censored::censored

the fitter reckons it does not work as the oem bit is built into the standard headunit.

I am not happy but i can still use the pioneer system,

Also the sticky magnetic pad that holds the gps antenna down has come off already!!

sorry about the rant ,
