hi i am putting a avic f900bt pioneer sat nav unit in my mk2 leon and i want to keep using the oem bluetooth system not the one built in the headunit!.
Does abyone know if this is possible and does it still mute audio if it is set up like this.
Thanks in advance
THe OEM one will work just the same I would of thought but it will not mute the pioneer unit unless pioneer to a canbus interface. You may find the pioneer bluetooth works better as it will display everything on the screen. Out of interest why the PIoneer and not the SEAT OEM RNS510 Sat Nav that you can pick up for £600 and will work with your existing bluetooth?
do a search mate, i have a pioneer double din with bluetooth and have connected it to my SEAT bluetooth with no problems at all.

yes mate my oem bluetooth works fine , no doesnt mute the pioneer , you have to select phone from the headunits source button , but you get used to it.
nope , you have to choose phone on the pioneer source.
ok so when you receive a call whilst listening to a cd does it not turn off the cd?
