Hi guys, sorry to hijack the thread but I was asking about this on the Altea forum.

I've just spoke to SEAT tech and they are saying the cornering function cannot be turned off.......................bummer !!

That is correct!

Well it's bloody silly, haha !!!!!

I asked SEAT customer care if it was road legal in France (I'm assuming it is) but they advised me to email customer care in Spain as they didn't know !!

I just don't fancy being pulled over by a French copper not knowing the lingo and having to explain it is a feature of the car and getting a 135 euro fine !!!

I can't believe they got this passed in the UK. I can see what they were trying to do but for them to come on when you are sat at lights with indicator on and wheels lined up is stupid !!

I like them, where i live theres not that many street lights, mainly due to the counsil never fixing them when little drunken ass:censored::censored:les knock them down. Find them handy to see the kurb so i dont damage my wheels

Yeah, I don't need them in all honesty as I live in London so more than enough light here hahahahahaha. then again I can drive with my fogs on here and not get pulled anyway, just like all the ppl with limo style tinted front windows!!!!!

I'm going to take some convincing.

How did people corner before these were invented ?

Also did you know they both come on when you engage reverse ? What's all that about, again very annoying when you are reversing looking towards oncoming traffic and you dazzle them !!

Don't think the fogs are that bright tbh and if they are blinding oncoming traffic they are set too high hehehehehehehe.

LOL. OK, will forgive you this once ok. Who is Rocco anyway?! He better be a frikken miracle worker to be called God hahahahahahahahhahaha
