got my cone filter fitted today and you were all spot on, its making the sound iv wanted since i was a school boy and thats still with the bosch, cant wait to get the 007, should be here tommorow, will it get louder with the remap??????

Remap makes it 10 times as loud get a split r in full recirc then you will flutter to yours hearts content

No problems since day one and that was over 2 years ago tried a 007p and didn't like it far to quiet As long as the split r Is in re circ and not got the trumpet on it's great

i wasnt sure about it at 1st but its realy grown on me
im not sure i like the reverse crack, prefer the woosh to a chirp mikey, il try it both ways and see what its like though mate. i thought about the split r but heard they had teething problems and where a nightmare to set up, plus on youtube they dont sound all that good with a bit of blow off
i love it aswell. im now using my cold side kit and it doesnt work now
however i do have a gfb dumpvalve to fit so im looking forward to hearing it
will bypassing the n249 make any difference to 007 sound lads, for £4 for the vac pipe id give that a go????
They prob sound woosh because of the trumpet of you take it off it sounds loads better one person slates them then every one else follows like lemmins , will try to get some vids 2morrow if I can
il have a go and see if i like, no harm in trying. the noise i get from the filter and standard dv seems to be louder on low boost and when i let my foot off the loud pedal fast, i thought it would be louder the more boost i was pushing, unless its just being drowned out by the roar
dan i just had a thought. the reason my car went into limp mode with the split r, because i had a boost leak in the pcv system, on its own it wasnt enought to set the ecu off but put that with the split r and we now have a big boost leak. so dan do you think my car would run fine with a split r now that i have no leaks.
i realy didnt like it at 1st but i didnt get chance to change it back for a while and it just grew on me,i already had the n249 bypassed when i had mine fitted so not sur if it makes a diff
I would have thought so but I'm no expert , through an open cone they sound great , will defo do some vids , Make sure the trumpets off tho
