Replaced bmc for jabbasport kit

As mentioned above ive just swapped my bmc cda to a jabbasport induction kit.Since dong this the car feels like its holding back at 3000rpm any ideas?

Have changed the fuel filter today and still the same the hesitation wasn't there before i fitted the kit love the sound but may have to swap it back.

Any ideas would be great

I was looking at a BMC but had a search on here and apparently the BMC is very restrictive. A few people have found that the smoothed box or open cone filter with cold air feed is better.

Think its just personal preferance mate have tried bmc, nuespeed and jabbasport now never really found any of them any different from the other.

My cold air feed from down near the fog light as ive fitted a front mount

Might try that then maybe stop this hesitation problem

ive had the hestation for over a year and since i fitted the fmic its nearly gone.

Was reading your thread last night mate about the problem it sounds exactly the same as yours too be fair.

Only thing i can put it down to is the cars struggling with fuel flow etc now front mount downpipe decat and other trick bits are fitted think another remaps in order

maybe try some injector cleaner through the system? doubtful but you never know.

No just by driving it,dont have facilities for logging

IMO the car felt best with bmc fitted

yea maybe needs a tweek on your map or your ecu is learning to the new filter.

Ill give it a week and see what its like, have just ordered some new plugs not changing them for about 20,000

tbh a decent panel filter never lets me down. responsive and no heatsoak
