looking good mate what bmw is the spoiler off and does the drilling of teh airbox give much noise difference

drilling airbox + k&n panel = sound louder... lol
apart from that no big difference tbh

i've been out in the car for a while and i just keep scraping the floor everywhere when i go over 60, so i deffo need to raise the front a bit :( handling is so much better tho!

be carefull if the deisel is anything like the my v5 the sump is the lowest part i dont dare lower mine

yeah the sump is stupidly low :( i really need to get them hook spanners out and pick it up a bit. it's scraping everywhere to be honest :(

nice toledo mate, where did you get your debadged grill from?

Thanks, you can find the grills everywhere, there's loads on ebay. I got mine from a seat sports website though, i can't really remember what the site was called :(

I know it was £30 though! haha

Same quality as anywhere else you'll find. Let's face it, what can go wrong with a grill? Haha

(if someone has a story to prove me wrong i'd be happy to be corrected lol)

i know not alot lol do you have to take the bumper off to fit this or can you get to it from the back? gonna buy one next week.

leave the bumper on lol
open bonnet, undo the screws on the black plastic strip

unclip original grill (push through and pull from behind bumper)

slide in the new one! (just slide it in from the back)

SIMPLE trust me :)

Spoiler kind of suits it, I woiuld like the little lip one. I'm sure someone has one on here.

NEW PICS!

how low

do u no how low have you gone cuz iv herd 40mm is about the limmet cuz stuff stars to hit the drive shafts (i think its the anti roll bars). what coil overs did u bye im thinking of doing mine in the new year.

i lowered the back by about 50/55 so the wheel's slightly into the arch but not too much, i lowered the front 40, i lowered it about 50/55 the first time and i dragged around the place, and hit nasty lumps in the road etc.... but 40 seems to be fine now.

Never caused any bad damage, but kept smashing the undertray off! not good, so i sorted that out straight away.

i bought my coilovers from ebay, VMAXX for the golf mk4, fit fine, £399. a bit steep but the handling is a MASSIVE improvement.... a bit bumpy tbh though :\ my front strut has made a great difference too, that was worth every penny.

thanks. whats them alloys like to live with in your display picture? bumpy? i was going to go for 18/19's but with the coilovers the ride was just unbearable..
