Few pics of mine on the coilies!

Got a different front numberplate now though, 3/4 size one so the fmic gets more cold air ;)

just need some spacers on now tom;) that drops spot on:)

Loving the pics of these LCR, however just want to ask, do you have problems with it lowered? For example, I've got a LCR 225, it's on standard suspension. Had two new front tyres yesterday and laser alignment and the car only just got on the ramp, the front missed by about 20mm!!!

Erm the front splitter catches on driveways sometimes if you rush out at the wrong angle etc, apart from that no probs normal road use :)

The nose is so far forward from the front wheels so the overhang coming off driveways can be a pain!
Been thinking of lowering for a while then I'll go somewhere and see how low the front gets and change my mind!!!

Heres mine, KW 50/40 kit. Highly recommend it, transforms the car, looks and performance. Any excuse for whoring...

Cheers Wayne. Yeah spacers are defo needed now! Any recommendations?

Think 10mm on front an 15mm on the rear, or 15 front and rear! Thoughts?

i ve got 20 mm back 10 on front but sold the 10s and want 15or 20 on front now look at lee69 he running 20mm all wrond looks good.;)

If you stick 20mm on the front, the front wheels will stick out further than the rears. 15mm back and 10mm front about balances it all out. It's my opinion but I think that 20mm on the back looks odd.

I will be selling my 10mm H&Rs soon in favour of some 5mm for the front.

hold on, make sure you know what you are getting with a 40/50mm kit.
that measurement is from the standard height for a leon, and is actually going to be about a 20/30mm drop for a LCR as the LCR is about 20mm lower than a stock leon.

for example, sambryant's leon has been dropped about 20mm, which represents a 40/40mm kit but is much higher than APE's leon which he says has been dropped about the same as a 40/50mm kit. - i suspect APE's has been dropped 40/50mm from the LCR height as his leon is way lower than sambryants..

or compare bakes100's to APE's they are worlds apart in terms of drop.
Bakes100 being a 50/40 drop and i would say is representative of what you would get with a 50/40mm spring/shock set up.

hope this makes sense.

Oh bugger really?? Lol. I didn't know that well i've ordered the kit now and that siver one with the kw kit looks good, i'd be happy with that tbh. But's ape's drop look's the best. How low is that?? And what suspension you got?

20mm too much for me, 15 max on back and 10 on front so Jay I will have 1st dibs on those 10mm H&R's ;)

yeah I looked but 20 just a tad too much for me I think. I'm fussy :)

You can't stop it but some spacers will make it looked better. Some 15mm on the back abd 5mm or 10mm on the front :)

Looking good, Tom. That's the look I am after.

Cheers! AMD set them up and not needed any adjustment since. Been spot on. Took a few days for them to settle but loving the stance of it now. Looks OEM but low rather than oh that car has been slammed look if you get me? The LCR is far far too high standard. Too much bodyroll!!

Try go off the driveways as diagonal as you can, trust me it works. Been doing so since I lowered my lcr :)

Hi

Could anyone who had has got the kw 50/40 or weitec 50/40 drop on there LCR post pics of there 4 wheel alignment up on here?

I was wondering whether the elongated holes on the wishbones where big enough to bring the camber back to factory spec once the car has been dropped this much.

Thanks
