O I C are they that good then hahahahahahhahahhaha Well, I guess we will just wipe that one off the board then and wait for ITG.

I was thinking if I do get it I can always sell my mods before I go
Forge BOV
Suspension (Eibach)
Rear ARB
and the Seat Sport AP brakes (fit standard ones)
Turn off Revo
Then sell the car as standard.

You plan on selling the brakes PM me mate. Im after some for the right price and obv you could have mine.

were i work their is a guy who im in contact with who works in conjunction with ITG and he is going their tommorow and i no he will let me know on any new for the cupra/fr/boc induction kit.

hopefuly all goes well and will be out soon 180quid is rather expensive i say but with ITG prices ur prob look around the same ? :)

Itg are doing a kit, iv been speaking to a guy there for the last couple of weeks as he's been developing it. Looks a good bit of kit. He reckons a couple more weeks and it'll be on the market.

Heres a photo of the one he's mocked up on the revo car

The price is going to be around £330 + vat he reckoned as it's all carbon fibre

Sweet mary!!!!!!!!! These ppl are on crack or something!!!! That is just faaaaaaar to dear for me. Guess forge wins this round hahahahahahaha

£330.00 thats madness, its a hot hatch not an F1 car. Thats all most selling body parts and children on ebay territory

Think they have priced themselves out of the market through quality.. Seriously though, fibreglass or Heavy Duty plastic is fine.

Saying that you should see what the JDM boys are paying for Mugen, Buddy Club etc for the Civic's and Integras for MUCH MUCH smaller gains :D

The Mugen stuff is seriously expensive for what it is. In my humble opinion and all. That Civic full Mugen tuned £32K plus wtf. Get a Focus RS or LCR and have change.

That kind of spending just makes you wana  when you get the bank statement

Quality costs and law of diminishing returns. There are much more expensive carbon airboxes.

I reckon that even without high-end companies like Mugen a Cupra owner can easily spend 20k on tuning and cosmetics from various brands.

You'd be crazy to spend 20k tuning anything! 300BHP+ through a car with no mechanical diff just doesn't work for me. The new Golf R would be the route i'd take if I was going to pour money into the TFSI engine. AT least you could put the quatro to some use :D

I said COULD.And yes, even if i had the money i wouldn't spend much on the performance front, but not only because it is a ''cheap'' FWD hatch with ''fragile gearbox'' and without LSD,but because it is very fast in standard tune. Not that Mugen didn't made a Type R for almost 20k more than the standard.

After the suspension, the other area i would spend ''serious'' money would be the interior. For example a top audio system with loudspeakers and most importantly quality seats with more lateral support, because while very decent they are not a match for the seats in the Renaultsport Twingo, let alone the Recaros in the Clio and other hot hatches!

I had a carbon fibre induction kit on my Celica and its deep metallic ''sucking'' was audible even above the truculent noise from the straight-trough exhaust.Nice,if you want more thrills from your Boc/Cupra,but now i would rather spend the money for a kit,BOV and intercooler on the Eibach coilovers.

I can’t decide which was a better buy, the coilovers or the revo for fun factor. The coilovers are amazing as they give a better ride and my car handles like its on rails now, the rear ARB has finished the who setup off perfectly.
FMIC although look great and offer cooler intake temps wouldn’t really be on my list as there is no need for much more power out of the car due to the “fragile gear box” and light weight.
If I was keeping the car i’d get a decent induction kit, lighter wheels and strip the rear out when needed. The rest would go on subtal style mods and a much better audio system as you also mentioned.

Will do! Hoping it'll be a nice enough day to go out and fit it. Plus i hope i don't encounter any issues while fitting it lol

Am so tempted to order this kit...had it in the basket and was about to hit submit. Just not sure about the actual real benefits it will bring and bit worried about my warranty (especially after the blown turbo I had).

I found out it's in a depot half an hours drive away from me since last night and isn't being delivered till Monday, was on the verge of giving them a call to see if i could pick it up myself today lol

In regards to warranty i'm going to take it off for services etc. Going to be interesting to see what the kit can do. I should be able to fit it Monday so will have pics, and maybe a before and after video for the sound. Depends how busy i am.
