If you put the pipes out it ain't rocket science really which way they have to go, just trial an error

Are you after a gold star for your picture?

You got a t-piece?! awesome!

I just bought one separately, you can use it to relocate the DV, you need extra piping and bits though.

Cheers for that, I see you have done one in your R/R thread!

Still unsure of what to make of this whistle i have just got after putting fmic in. going to check all hoses and clamps tomorrow. not liking the sounds of James's though!

I'm getting the same noise, but mine came out the blue while swapping DV's

New Brakes

New brakes have been fitted they are the rears off Porsche 996/911. Bought second hand in very good condition.

To fit I bought:

  • Two 4pot Porshe rear calipers part numbers: 996.352.421 and 996.352.422
  • New HEL lines
  • New OEM discs
  • New Ferodo pads
  • RBF600
  • Caliper adapters (Volksbits)
  • New Porsche Pin kit
Think that was it!

Only been out in it once but very happy with results so far stopping is far better that last setup. pedal at the moment is very hard - glad im back to OEM discs as my old BlackDiamond ones were pants!

There is 4/5mm gap between the alloy and caliper.

Next is Revo Stage 2 this week Wednesday/Thursday! Also been looking at some Porsche twists!

Cheers for the comments. The rear brakes are in pretty poor shape may look at upgrading, any recommendations??

Plus under hard breaking im getting some grinding (Is the way i can describe it) through the pedal not sure if this will be the rears.

Booked in on thursday at votex congleton for stage 2. Going to let them set up the custom map as i dont have vagcom. Heres hoping the drive home will be an enoyable one!

App rear boxter calipers are ment to make the pedal really hard and crap at stopping due to them being for the rear of the car not the front , front porka calipers are the nuts tho ,

Front porkas, them the big reds? My budget was in the low not the high hundreds low thousands! Those that dpj had for sale are awesome.

What decent upgrades are there for the rears for cupra.

True lol the price is alot different , can you not fit the 256mm disks that the lcrs have , I no ecs do alot of aftermarket brakes , there was some on ed 38 a while back for 305 mm disks for 400 quid lol
