Got in the car this morning and it was 1.c and there was a * next to the outside temp. Reading in the user manual it says I should get a 'beep', but when i truened on the ignition I didnt get one

Is it a fuse or something that needs changing?

I think that it only beeps if the temperature drops below 4degrees while you are driving.
If you start the car when the temperature is below 4degrees, it only shows the snowflake sign with no beep.

Thanks :)

I thought it was broken.

Is it just low fuel and ice warning that get the beeps?

No, if you leave your handbrake on it will beep at you too :)

Oh and when you leave your lights on and take the key out and open the door

Thanks :)

Yeah thats correct bud :)

But yeah it only usually beeps about temp if the temps drops drastically while you are driving

I wish the low fuel beep was the same as the temp one, it's much less annoying

Im yet to hear any of the beeps :D , sad as it sounds but i was waiting for the ice warning one this morning lol

It's not quite cold enough for it if you ask me (where I am anyway heh)

It has to be 5c or less for the beep to sound

that damn fuel warning beeper! ive nearly crashed many times because of it! In the later models they turned the beeper to the same noise as the handbrake beeper..much less scary!

Completely forgot they warn you you that its cold! only got the car in easter so have yet to hear this one. at least its not as anoying as on a astra which puts up a warning over your radio readout lol

I've never had the cold warning tone yet...

Had the handbrake one though, when I forgot to release it fully once upon a time.

The fuel light bong though, that's clearly designed to scare the living daylight out of you!

My petrol noise works. Never heard the seatbelt, temperature or handbrake bong before though?! Is it a fuse or something? I want them! :).
