Hi guys,

Im getting my full system downpipe, de-cated Powerflow exhaust fitted this avo! :D CANT WAIT!!! Got the usual supporting mods but wondering whether to go for a Stage 2 (after xmas, once I got some mahuna again!!!), and then once the FMICs on itll be purring. Or get a stage 1 and then up it later??

Just some advice from ya all who have done the same out there please :clap:
 
i'd say might as well get stage 2 because with the winter come it will be cool 4 about the next six months so u'll only feel the benefits when the summer hits, out of curiosity u getting custom turbo back or off the shelf miltek unit ?
 
Arrrr good point bud!!! So stage 2, and then FMIC easter time - spot on!

Its a custom cat back Powerflow, and a blue flame 3" downpipe and de-cat.
 
nice can bet it will sound awesome , i'm get a custom turbo back myself 2.5" downpipe , de-cat and 3" catback with small box :). i'm curious to see what bhp u'll get after turbo back n remap

But when ya gona free up that bumper for me already mate!! Waiting with baited breath............. hehe Hopefully least before easter so I can fit the FMIC and that all at the same time :D
 
Ill hopefully get it on the RR this avo if I get time - ill let ya know the results if I do. & remap will be least til after xmas, everyone is getting cuddles for christmas this year!! HAHAHAHAHA

I'm working on it. Things just keep comming up that need money spending on them. Need new engine and gear box in my van. Nightmare. You get first dabs on it mate!!

About 200bhp. thats what i got with a Milltek turbo back with decat and stage 1.

Its all about stage 2, cmon ppl ive only had my lc for 6 weeks and it was standard when i bought it, get on with it ; )

I'd say a little more, say 220-225 with the map and turboback,

with catback you'll pull 215-218 usually,

Im going from Dyno results mate, a map and turbo back got me 200BHP.

180BHP before.

Stage 2 is where its at.
 
The Turbo back really doesnt free up that much, the Decat does more than the rest.

I had a perfectly healthy LC producing near on 180BHP. Here is the result after...

big drop in the Graph, stage 2 revo sorted it.

stage 1 map and catback dyno'd at 218 and 245lbft... you need to do some research matey lol auq 180 lc

stage 1 lc remap will se a similar output, a stage 2 LC with turbo back and intercooler should see circa 220-235


200 bhp at the flywheel? youve got running issues for a stage 2,

for example a stage one with evidence on a stock lc 180

I think your getting confused or possibly have a pre 01 car running a Ko3?

Stage 1 map on an 01 onwards car will give anywhere around 210.
Removing the restrictive downpipe/cat and upgrading ads around 10bhp without mapping.
Add a stage 2/custom map to tweak and you should see 230-240 bhp.

so youve made a gain of 20bhp by fitting a cat back and a stage 1 map? Thats poor.

OMG!!! :D :D :D!!!!

The sound is emmence - spot on! Lovely deep growl and a lovely rasp to it! Just sounds SO powerful ya know - exactly what I wanted!

Havent had it on the RR yet but results from my Liquid Gauge - before exhaust it was averaging 163bhp. After the 3" downpipe, de-cat and Powerflow exhaust its now averaging 178 and feels AMAZING! Putting my foot down in 6th is like dropping one and half gears ya know............. Just spools up so much faster and ive gained an extra 2psi of boost?? Used to be 10psi peaking at 12, now its 12 peaking at 14psi reaching 14.7 last night?!!! But now it seems my clutch is slipping :'( Strange how its suddently just gone! humph - job for the wknd then! But the cars on 104k and done its fair share of track days and still the original one!

Im gona go straight in at a stage two - as pointed out I got til least easter to get the FMIC fitted to match it :D & HOPEFULLY Ill be looking for circa 240 bhp how its set up at the moment.

But DEFO the decat is where its at - who ever hasnt got it, DO IT!! hehehehe
