Hi,

The right hand wiper (when sitting in the driver seat) after a few months starts squeaking at a specific point against the windscreen. This has happened for the last two pairs I have bought. Any ideas why?

Also, as this has started again, I want to upgrade to the aero style and found these:

Are these any good or could you give me a link to some?

Thanks

I've got the aerowipers, they are good for the winter months as I find the original bosch ones squeek a bit during the colder months. During the warmer months though, the aero's start squeeking so I change them back

I replaced my original wipers for Bosch aero ones, absolutely awesome improvement. No noise whatsoever with my wipers on now, they're deadly quiet.

Search ebay and tick the little include description box on the search for Bosch AR533S and you'll find the same blades I have on mine now.

I would agree, Bosch ones are the best. Fantastic improvement, no squeek or judder :D

Thanks for the comments guys. Bosch AR533S it is then! Cosmetically they do look a lot better than the standard and good reviews, must be a winner.

Nice one :D

ok i always buy the cheapies from ebay and i findt hat if they start squeaking soak them in vinegar! my gramp told me to do it and it works!!! dont get me wrong after about 2 months it comes back but good for a temporary measure

Yeah the vinegar works because it degreases the wipers and cleans them up. I think thats what causes the squeeks in the first place, just dirty.

Wipers got delivered today, pretty quick as I didn't pay for express delivery and ordered them Wednesday I think. These were the ones I got:

They look so much better than standard and really do clean the windscreen alot better aswel with no squeaking, and became an excuse to go for a drive in the snow :D

Thanks for recommending them, I will be staying with these from now on! I want to sort the rear wiper out now with a Polo wiper!
