advantage of fitting a catch can

Fitting a catch can is so easy, the hardest part is working out how to remove the pcv, even thats quite easy.

Not specialists ... idiots! Why would you hook up the big vacuum line that goes to your brakes to a catch can? Nice way to suck a load of gunk into your engine.

main advantage for me when i did mine was i found 3 split pipes on the pcv pipework so killed 2 birds with 1 stone as they say but after being fitted for 4+ months i removed it cause this is all it collected

it was baffled (not sure if this is the right word?) with wire wool and that had very little on it either!

It's not connected to the brake servo vacume its host a very convenient picture it runs to the 90* elbow under the manifold

sam will send you the pics you block some pipes then run your can to the other pipes.

i removed mine becose they cause boost leaks sam as the pics if he still got them to do both the pcv and catch can.
