It's not a noticeable difference in power but the sheet roar of the filter makes it sound mean! But for only 29.99 and 4.49 for the filter and reducer then it's a bargain! What's yours re 1.4 16v? Might make a slight difference in that if it is a 1.4.

The grill I have chopped the black panel along the top of the grill. You can see in pic 1 the black bit which blocks off the part at the top behind the slats. And in the last pic it's gone. All other pics show the process.

Sweet i'm liking the sound of that fella. That's a pretty good if you ask me buddy. Nah mines the 1.2 as well, i have recently bought the K&N panel filter, going to fit that on in a few weeks and see how i get on, i'm hoping it's as good as a cone one or similar

Behind the slats at the top there is a black blanking plate which blocks off the top of the slats(pic 1) . But now it's not there (last pic).

Yeh I ment I didn't notice until you said, I wonder what the point of it is, when I took my out to do the badge carbon I was surprised how study the grille was

Tis a great idea with the black numberplate section, makes it look more FR-ish without the extra cost. I did mine with vinyl but paints even better

Looks good buddy, not sure about the badge surround being red though. It would work for some colours but I don't think it suits the grey, that's just me though

Yea i did think that but i thought it might go with the rims as they have a red lip?

looks much better! defo need fogs to carry the look off. Also, i think colour coding the wing mirror covers, side strips and handles would make it look far better. Just about money though ha ha!!
