Hi guys,

My battery was flat on Monday morning after the big freeze... got it going again yesterday and it started first crank when I jumped it off my mums car.

Prior to Monday, it would start but would take its time turning over before it would go. (been happening a while)

Does this mean my battery is more or less dead?

If so, what battery manufacturer would anyone recommend and where would be the best place to get one?

I have a Leon TDi SE 110 if it makes any odds.

Cheers,

Ben

Check your glow plugs, there much cheaper.
I had a similar issued a week or 2 back,
Dog starting, twice it required a jump, but no glow plug error light.
When I checked them with a multi meter 3 read as being kaput.
The final one read on, but I tested it on 12 later, suffice to say I could hold the “hot end”

Cheltenham!!!, I must of seen you around!
