I'm looking to keep it until I'm 21 and then look to buy a new motor.
Surprisingly this never happened as I have now sold my Ibiza and replaced it with a Audi A3. Sorry for not staying with SEAT, but I was after a bigger car that was also 3 door. So I couldn't say yes to getting a Leon. :(

Also, the pictures that I hosted on the Tapatalk servers have gone all weird and are not showing correctly. :censored:

This is my readers ride of my new car: Clicky! You will have to register with the forum to view it, sorry folks.

Hey guys and girls, this is my RR for my Sportrider, it's the engine out of a 1.4 Sport (100ps) with extra bits on it.

There is a bit of arguing on the first few pages of this thread, I'm sorry If I caused any.

I bought my Ibiza in April 2010 with 1 previous owner and 12k miles on the clock. I'm looking to keep it until I'm 21 and then look to buy a new motor.
To this date: 25th June 2011. It has done 30k miles.

Here is a picture of when I bought it

It also came with the 1.9tdi engine as well, maybe not be so brash in replys?

I didn't mean to look 'brash'. Sorry. I did not know about the 1.9TDi model, I only got told by the dealer that it only comes in a 1.4 Petrol. Maybe he was on about what cars he had for sale.

Anyway... I decided to be a bit cheeky and bought some FR badges. There is no harm in pretending... Is there? :cartman:

How would it be possible to know it wasn't an FR until you look under the bonnet? Everything on the outside is FR ;)

Only thing is that it doesn't have the oval exhaust pipe.

Well for a start the rear lights arent from a facelift FR; the alloys are from a prefacelift FR-but you have facelift bumpers, the FR badges on facelifts are only on the rear-not the B pillars....

So your saying that only FR geeks would know the difference... They are pretty hard to come by in my small town. So I think I'm safe :cartman:

Maybe with the badges yeah, but not with the alloys or rear lights. Anyone that knows the Ibiza range will know the facelift FR doesnt have those ones.

God you've got off on the wrong foot with a few people on here ha. Like the car, I have the 1.4 sportrider too. I'd definitely lose the fr badges though. Or keep them n add a couple of halfords 20vt, type R, sport badges too. If that's what you want it's upto you I suppose though. Hope the forum helps you.

I suspect a sense of "Taking the piss" If you must know my friend bought them for a Christmas present. I could hardly say no they are poo I wont use them, can I? I'll leave them on for now, until I decide to change my alloys (Which will be quite soon-ish)

I have fitted a new aerial!

My aerial was a silly anti-theft one, so trying to twist it off was just pointless.

A top tip is to pull it hard whilst twisting it. Remember to hold the base of the aerial with your other hand, otherwise the whole roof will start to bend with the pulling haha.

Car with old aerial.
