If you search tiger stripe interior, it will show the red seatbelts, as they came with them from factory

Thanks for the replies guys. Would it be better getting them from the main dealer or searching the net. Tried ebay but nothing.

Also how easy are they to fit?

You also shouldn't put harnesses on seats not designed for them (i.e. standard folding back seats). Harnesses run through the seat above your shoulders and in order for them to work the seat has to retain structural integrity should you crash. With folding back seats there is a risk in a crash that the belts will cause the back of the seat to collapse, destroying your back in the process.

to get a full set from the dealers, you are looking at £600+!!!! the reason i know is because a while ago i looked into this. luckily, ibought dinky dave`s interior which had a full set of belts too. also i found 2 more sets on ebay, bought them, kept 1 set and sold the other.

they are easy to fit as long as you know how to use a spanner??

I managed to get a set of red belts from someone breaking there car on here for about £40 I think I paid.

Easy to do, just need a screwdriver and a ratchet with a 17mm socket I think it was. Only thing thats a pain is removing the trim and then getting it back on properly after lol

gav, harnesses on standard seats = serious back injuries in an accident, as they are not designed for them, they will break the seat, and your back in the process :(

 looks like im gonna have to get some buckets but i think they look odd in a car that will most likely never see a track.

Im only after the belts, im going to check on the for sale section, what bits would i need if i were to get em off the dealer? ie, any mechanisms? or anything else.

Im fairly handy with a spanner, took my pedal box out

where the old belts were secured

Not quite. You might be able to get away with re-using the point on the pillar side of the car, but you will have to drill into the transmission tunnel on the other side to fit a mounting point. This is because the clip for the standard seatbelt is attached to the seat itself, so if you replace the seat you lose that mounting point.
