Hello all hope someone knows the answer I've just been at work and had me car on the ramp, I've been getting a squealing noise when on boost! It's definitely not inlet side ive checked this several times and I'm not loosing boost. Had a look and theres signs of a exhaust gas blow between the exhaust manifold and the turbo.

Is there a gasket between the two?

Any help would be appreciated cheers

Yes but I think this is a common problem on these it's not a gasket the manifold cracks seen it a few tines now you can weld it or buy a new one but no harm in trying a gasket tho I could be wrong altogether lol

the bolts / lugs on my turbo came out slightly causing the same noise, had the turbo off, them tapped back into place, perfect since..

Take no notice of Pyro, it's almost always the gasket that's blown.

I have feelings you know  :p

I know that dan with the green leon has had trouble with cracked
Manni ;) it's done it twice now

I know I'm only kidding Dave ;) but if I'm right I expect an apologie :harhar:
