Help Rear demister button just flashes

Sorry if this is already been asked but I did a search and couldn't find anything.

Went to defrost the rear window this morning on my wifes Ibiza 1.9tdi sport 03 and the button just flashed and nothing happened??

Any ideas?

Just thinking out loud but is the mirror adjuster button in the middle ?

The heated part of the mirrors only works when the button is in the middle.

The heated mirrors are part of the rear demister circuit.

My rear demister does this too sometimes, dont know why but I just switch it off and on again and it works.

Same.. never bothered me that much to be honest

It only seems to do it when its really cold and the window is covered in ice.

I reseated the fuse and its now working again
