I had to push the vinyl up / away from surface and work out the bubbles before cutting in the vents.Got a felt squeegee, that was a help as i could add pressure without scoring the vinyl found heating it just lifted it and sofened it so once heated rubbed hard down
Prob a bit of luck as well
about that, every way I tried there's always one bubble. it's like the vinyl can't cover the panel evenly. I tried to heat it with hairdryer but didn't help
The thing is, there's high quality vinyl with "air vents" and lower quality vinyl that usually is thinner, the lower quality vinyl tends the bubble allot more. The one with air vents hardly bubbles at all.

I used the 3M one, thought it's good quality. I acutally want to cover some parts in real carbon and was kinda practicing with vinyl as carbon is way more expensive. Will probably start from mirror covers and radio fascia as it's pretty easy
