Hehehe go for it bro, you could be the World's first Big Turbo Boc.
Besides joking this beast cannot be mounted on a 1.4l engine, it is even too big for 2.0 engines, this turbine can produce up to 600bhp.

Grdude what plugs do you put in yours what is the code I will find them on the internet under? Desperate to get some now

I have ordered a set of NGK platinum plugs today. Dunno if they are the same as the Premium ones but were only like 4 quid more than the OEM ones from the dealer, bearing in mind I get 10% off all parts. Still £92.00 for plugs, oil filter, oil and sump plug aint too bad..... i think...... heheheehe

Hmm that's a result I just looked at the bit of paper my dealer gave me with the plugs they can supply me and they are pzfr6r made by ngk :D yay they had 4 in stock will pick those up tomorrow 48 quid all in can't complain to much really as I won't be able to get any others by Sunday as i have no time to go and pick any up and I won't be able to get any delivered now

Just seen this

that is the one i sparked the thought the development for its a stab99 air box same as the scirocco/golf intake i was going to try and get this air box to fit some how but i went for the carbon fibre one and now this one is in production after speaking to andy at itg :D

JC, where did you order these plugs from? I think I might invest in some. I haven't had any missfires but it could prevent any future ones if I have a really decent set of plugs in the motor.

Have you spoken been and seen andy. he fitted the development ITG Maxogen for the Octavia on my car. That guy loves his job more than is safe to do so lol. Dead nice to see someone with such enthusiasm in his work.

Where is the ducting going, i thought on the Forge and previous ITG maxogen it went between the engine and battery and into the slam panel. That one is disappearing behind somewhere

Both the ITG maxogens make the Forge filter look small and flimsy

I think I'll go out and do some comparative logging in the Cupra at the weekend. IAT vs boost at differing levels and see what we see. Like you - I'm pretty confident that it'll see 30C and then some.

I sold my VCDS cable like a mug as i wasnt planning another VAG, so im goiing to buy another. Out of interest are the logging blocks the same on the 1.4TSI and they were on the 2.0TFSI?

I had a look under the bonnet just now its getting dark but i couldnt see a MAF sensor on the intake anywhere, so im presuming its using the MAP sensor for the air mass measurements.

Do the same rules of thumb apply to the logs on the 1.4TSI that could be applied to the TFSI, like the mass air flow reading/0.81= rough horse power at any point in the rpm etc

The logging is totally different to anything before. They no longer support the 'normal' ranges - instead you just pick all the data you want to see, and away you go.

I'll get some screenies.

No idea on airflow assumptions, it has a power reading anyway, and measures the air in different units (kg/m rings a bell)

I dealt with him a lot on the phone he's such a nice bloke and does love his job I think he said he thinks there is a feed from behind the headlight or in the wing I don't know what happened in final development but I think is was somewhere near there it runs down the right hand side of the battery. I was speaking to him about air filters and next thing I know we are talking about cheap fast cars completely off subject lol one quick phone call ended up being half hour long lol.

Ordered them from Euro Car Parts. They supply our company along with TPS. They are the platinum premium ones and only cost me £38.00 hehehehehhehe
