Check turbo do a compression test and come back

Hello again I just put my hand around my turbo and there is fresh oil around it will that mater (should it be there ?)

out the inlet cool side?
if your not running an oil catch can then this is normal. have you checked turbo play?
sorry just kinda re read that you mean you have oil leaking out side the turbo as in thier is oil around your turbo.
take your tip off and see whats going on inside.
smiffymk3 is stating the obvious but is right could be a leaking oil inlet or outlet. but im not sure it would cuase smoke.

if ya turbo has been leaking for a while then the internals is more than likely gonna be like a **** in a bucket i would try and get a hand in and see if it wobbles on the shaft mate

May have found the problem my intake pipe isn't on proper do you think that is way it's smoking a bit ??

remember all the intake does is put fresh air into the turbo , have you blocked the pcv off? do you have a oil catch tank fitted by any chance ? i had a problem when i fitted mine if not like i said on the 2nd post your oil seals have gone

Well I don't no what's going on but iv put the pipe back on and it's stoped smoking :/

No I put the pipe back on the turbo from the filter.

I will take it for a drive in a bit and see if it's still doing it wen it's hot ?

hmm thats a strange one was the smoke defo coming out the exhaust as ive had it before where oil has leaked onto the exhaust and burning causing it to smoke and look like its coming from the exhaust....

Mmm still got a bit of smoke but it's gone a bit grey, White now I'm thinking head gasket ?
