I've jut been asked to do this on Sunday or Monday with a few mates! I've never done anything like this before but I'm well up for it! What sort of times should a standard Cupra be doing?

I'm going with a lad with a 172 Clio, civic type R and a mk5 GTI s2+

You will beat the Civic and Clio, and you will get beat by the Golf assuming all are driven to a high standard.

yeah, were all pretty quick drivers ut getting a perfect racing start is another matter lol. I was just after a goal to try and achive. was that the time you did in your standard cupra Al?

Just be aware, York usually require all drivers to wear a helmet when racing they have a few for loan i believe.
Last time I was at Santapod no helmet was required

My mate went this Monday just gone, got a 10.75 quarter with a 130mph Terminal in his Subaru. I'd of loved to of gone then but I had to work.

I know Rob went on the Sunday and got a decent time.

Yeah 14.3 @ 102 was achieved in the old car as standard. Also did 14.4 in an LCR last year @ 101mph with an easier start.

10.75 in a car is fast. I did 10.711 last week at Crail on my R1

i got a 14.7 last week at crail in my 1.4 @ 97 mph pretty chuffed even beat a corsa vxr

i went on monday ,

i got 14.7 in my 56plate ibiza fr 1.9 diesel

you need a helmet it doesnt have to have a sticker on it though also your car will have to pass the scrutany test ie battery is safe not wobbling about they check your seatbelts and also checked my steering

Mates Scoob is 650hp its on Youtube. He bought it from up your way as is for just under 15k, it came with receipts for the engine for 21k. Original owner didn't have the heart to break it into bits to sell on, luckily for my mate
