If in doubt, get the hammer out

Has worked for my several times

If you run a vehicle search on chiptuners.co.uk they have the charts :O

Literally, the standard mk2 90hp cannot supply enough fuel with standard injectors to make 141 unless on a very happy dyno.

"as specialists of Seat diesel we have tuned loads of these they have flat spots 1500-2000 3250-4000 rpm, when remapped by our custom files flat spots removed. we can get 35-45+ BHP with 60-80 nm torque, an extra 2-8 mpg save up to 30-60+ miles a tank!"

They will get you more power yes, and some more mpg. But they aren't going to get 141 out of your tdi. They might get 130 out of it if you have a good one to start with.

get too caught up in the numbers of it.
Numbers are for pub talk; it's the bum-dyno that really matters.

Jabba mapped my other car (Fabia VRS) from it's standard 130bhp to 177bhp
The RR print out says it 177.
It is actually 177? who really knows.
Can i be arsed to put it on another RR to find out? no.
Does it feel much quicker and faster than it was AND give better mpg? Hell yeah.

Having looked through chip tuners website though they do seem to be massively over estimating their maps abilities!
From everything i've read on Briskoda.net the "safe" (and easily acheiveable) levels for a PD130 with no other mods is just under 180bhp and 300 torques
Chiptuners are expecting 195bhp?! not a chance.
