i had the Osram's much better than the standards, i just didnt like the orange glow.

I went for 5.3k HIDs in the end which are as close to white as your going to get... and then i ended up trading them for some 6k ones and a few goodies... lol

the 5.3k where very OEM tbh, the 6k are a bit blue as you can imagine, but their fantastic night driving.

i never get flashed for blinding, and i even follow the police at night and have never been pulled for them :)

until they got behind you ;) haha

all headlights have a adjustment in them mate so yes one for each headlight aim

if you open your bonnet, you will see a tiny hole (enough to get a screwdriver down) just above your lights, get a phillips screwdriver and turn either way (whether higher or lower) this will adjust it to what ever level you set it on, my advice is to remember which electronic setting you've got it on inside the car to make sure you can adjust it if need be!

Thank you for this thread, saved me re-asking the question. One question though on the main beams it it simply a bulbs brightness that makes it not road legal or are there other factors?

the colour, angle and type are all factors too mate

I didn't know there was an angle to full/main beams, thanks. I'll just stick some nightbreaker plus's in and leave it day, as long as they match and won't blind anyone thats all I care about don't use the full beams much anyway!

Might be a bit of a late comment but I wud recommend the "Osram Cool blue" there 5000k they say they are only for off road use but the ones that I have fitted don't look good nothing dodgy about them at all, just a nice white light. A set of HIDs are much brighter but for £13.50 - £16 I don't think you will find much better lights. I really don't recommend the night breakers unlimited there not a good colour.
