Sure, be my guest :)

It was a pain in the backside trying to get the air bubbles out of the steering wheel. [:@] Good luck!

I'd be worried that when cutting the vinyl to shape that you would be cutting into the very expensive steering wheel though, leaving loads of scratches on it.

Don't put pressure on it at all, try and do it so it's not actually cutting the vinyl. Keep going over the same bit and it will finally cut it.

But to be honest with you, I bit the bullet and went for it, it was taking ages with no pressure.

It's just printed pal, If you want it to be textured your looking at daft amounts of money. I also thought it would get on my nerves having it textured on my steering wheel. :ban:

About time I updated this thread...

After having a jet wash strip off some paint in various areas I got to work at doing some quick fixes.

I decided on buying a plaster and be part of the 'scene' group...

I then bought some black matt vinyl wrap and did the front of my car.

This was what it was like before I did the operation to save my car's good lucks!!

I then went ahead and did this...

Don't worry, I did the other side as well!!

Music time!

I have also invested in some hardcore music equipment.

I used to have some Edge 6x9's and an Edge subwoofer, but they just wasn't doing anything for me and I wanted bigger, better stuff.

I have gone with a company called Aura for the subwoofer and amplifier, they are a German company who specialise in DJ equipment that also do car entertainment as a bit on the side.

I then got my 6x9's from a website called theloudest.com.

The specs for these are as follow;
4000w amplifier split into 4 channels of 1000w
1200w x2 12" subwoofers w/ fibre glass casing, bridged on 2 channels. (Yes I know I'm wasting 400w!)
500w x2 theloudest.com 6x9's.

Playing with lights.

A few days ago one of my low beam bulbs went out. :ban:

So I went on eBay and started experimenting with some bulbs...

First off I bought some LED bulbs, they contain 68 LED's on one H7.

2 LED's at the front were not working... So that was a good start. [:@]

Apart from that these lights actually looked amazing in the dark.

As you can see, I also bought some red LED's for the sidelights.

But dear god, for practicability, these things are an absolute nightmare in the dark, they do not light up any part of the road!! These are for ideal for show cars, but not for everyday driving!

So I moved on to something else... Plasma light bulbs.

I was a bit unsure at first but I thought anything could be better than these LED ones.

As you can see, they have a essence of red in them, It's not dark yet so I won't be able to tell you if they are any good yet. I will keep you posted.

Finally got an induction kit!

Earlier on last week I did a deal with a friend of mine, I swapped my OMP strut brace for a K&N i57. I love the sound that it makes, the growl at 3k revs turn me on.

T304j.jpg

As you can see I now have a genuine SEAT Sport strut brace to take it's place.

I then went to Halfrauds and bought a oil pipe filter and some tubing to make my own bodged up cold air feed.

While I had the bonnet up I might as well show you that my sticker addiction has struck again.

If you don't know what these stickers resemble then you should shoot yourself.

I also recorded a video that I got requested to do, so I might as well put it on here. Clicky!

I had 3 passengers in the back once, and it made my car look fantastic... if you ignored all the rubbing.

I'm tempted to drop my coilovers to this level, but that would mean I wouldn't be able to have any passengers in at all...

Oh, and this is how it looks at the moment...

Playing around.

I had some of that red carbon vinyl wrap left so I was looking for things to attack.

I thought about doing the black border around the S badge on the boot.

I then got round to doing it!

What you can't see is the top left of it where I messed up. It got annoying knowing the fact it wasn't perfect, so I removed it.

I might attempt it again at some point because I thought it looked good!

Hey guys,

I've been looking at getting a new car, I was after a bigger car than my Ibiza but I still want 3 doors. So obviously a Leon is not for me!

I have come across this Audi A3 and I have just fell in love with it.

It's a 2.0 TDi Sport 140!

I have enjoyed my time here and meeting new people at various meets whilst loving every minute of my car, but sadly it is time to move on.

Thanks guys.

Oh and here is some pictures of this new motor...

I picked it up last Friday and it went straight to Revo for a stage 1 remap. My ECU has been very generous and given me an extra 50bhp! It's now running at 190bhp!
