First pics of my new Ibiza!!!

Visited the dealer today to sign the rest of the paperwork and I got to see my Ibiza for the first time! All I can say is 'Wow'! So glad I chose Candy White - it looks even better in the flesh! I got to poke my head in and breath in that wonderful new car smell but I saved sitting in her until I can drive her away on Friday! Got some pics to share too! More will follow on pick up day (which is only 2 sleeps now!!)

Thanks guys! No plans for her at the moment - this one is staying standard for now. I did a couple of cosmetic mods to my current car (Corsa). Being female, I don't 'do' taking things to bits, lol, I don't have a clue!! I shall just enjoy the driving experience for now, but don't be surprised if a few little cosmetic mods creep in at some point! I think some splashes of red might look nice inside, but not sure yet!

Whoop! Only 1 sleep left - well, that's if I actually get any sleep tonight, lol! Can't wait to sit in her and driver her off the forecourt. I shall take some time to just sit and breathe in the wonderful new car aroma! Some new pics will follow tomorrow - shall be taking her for some outdoor shots on the drive home!

Indescribable, lol! 200% better! Every time I hear the sound of the engine and feel the turbo a huge grin spreads across my face! Not to mention the grin when the mpg figure creeps up to the high 40's/low 50's! Just brilliant! The only thing I miss from the Corsa is that the lights turned off automatically when the engine turned off, but the Ibiza 'bongs' at me to remind me to turn them off!

Cool, i take it you had the rattley 1.2 engine in the corsa? Far too underpowered for the size of that car. Even the 1.4 is slow. Seems the 1.2 tsi is a great wee engine with plenty of poke when needed. Think gloss black mirror covers would look good on yours!

It wasn't rattly at all - she was a 58 plate and only just over 10k miles. The seat squeaked and the door rattled and she hated hills (of which we have plenty on the Island, lol)! My son's 1.1 Saxo was faster than the Corsa and heaps more fun to drive too. I test drove the 1.4 Ibiza and that seemed just as slow as the Corsa, and I tested the LEON with the 1.2tsi engine, but couldn't get a feel of it as I couldn't get to grips with dodgem car style accelerator, lol! When I did get it to go the engine was brilliant! I hadn't even crossed the dealers forecourt when I collected her before the grin spread! Of course, my brother (TTX) helped my decision by always saying how great his Ibiza was - he got his 1.2tsi SE back in October.

Not sure about the wing mirrors - I love her as she is at the moment. Would love some white alloys one day, but for now she is perfect! There are more pics from the day I collected her in this thread - http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=322231
