Got this message thru this afternoon:blink:

i know I told you these were going to be done and they were built, my damn Anodizer did them black? Im sure you want red...

We do 90% of the parts black and only a few Red, so he mixed them up.

I am rebuilding these for the 3 time today and we rush them through the anodizer and the shipping.

:banned::banned::banned: bad times, least im not in any rush for them anymore that the car is off the road.lol

Going by your posts on another forum and because the coilovers are off, assuming you are going to go air suspension on this now?

Yeah plenty of readying, and the yank forums are dead good to, theyv done everything before. I will be getting rid of it probly as i cant see me sticking it back on and from what iv read you dont really need it

Sure am, static low low on coilovers sucks, just wreck everything and rather not ruin a decent set of KWs taking parts off them.

I just put KW's on and think they are fantastic. Too low would cause issues though for sure.

Yeah dont fancy taking helper springs out, bumpstops and having them low will just wreck a decent coilover set that someone who want to run them higher and how theyr intended to be used. So makes sense.

Plus i like going places so air is better in everyway for what i want.

Im thinking about the Airlift system, not to sure what kinda setup yet, in talks with a couple of guys. But im really just searching around see whats about in the UK, this is one thing i dont really want to attempt myself, id rather get it done right even tho it may cost a bit more.

My mate sarah has a awsome system in her MK5 GTI so im thinking about similar to that

Should be mint next show season if mine is at a decent stage and yours is more or less done!!!

Derek, air seems like the way for a show car so not hugely surprised by this.
But
What ever happened to making a very unique LCR. Since the first time I met you more than a year ago all you've done is fit Coilovers and aftermarket wheels?
This is not hugely different to every other LCR.

The wheels admittedly are very different to what most fit.

I was really intrigued when you said you were going for a unique euro look.
What's your plan for this?

To make the LCR look hugely different you'll have to change most of the body panels and both bumpers.
You getting custom panels and bumpers made?

I dont think youl make the LCR much more unique without wrecking the car, its a good looking car to start with and adding shitty aftermarket bumpers and things will make it chavvy IMO.. All about doing things other people havent done, Not a huge amount of Leons on air, or his rim etc etc.. Look forward to seeing what yo do tho :)
