A mate of mine has a similar set-up in her MK5 and it awsome!!!

Well worth the extra dollar IMO, i dont plan on selling the leon anytime soon TBH so i dont mind shelling out on it as i dont have much else to spend money on like a house, kids or any of those drains.lol

Bags are for fags! When I was on air, I craved static drop, and when I am static drop I craved air. I am happily settled with a static drop now, a properly stanced static dropped car is way cooler than air. And that's comming from a man with experience!

Each to their own I guess! At least Derek has tried, but it wasn't for him or for what he wanted the car to be. Perhaps once Derek has air, his heart might change, but until then I think he deserves some praise for even trying this :D

All depends on wether its a daily, where you live, work etc.. Its not worth ruining the car keeping it static just to get some " scene points " .. Airs far more practical for some people, including me.

I had my 1st 106 slammed on coilovers.....that was erm awsome where i live must have got loads of scene points. Smashed mani's, sumps, undertrays, splitters, bumpers, dreams = scene points.....NAT!!

I have a blessing and a curse iv got some of, if not the best driving roads in the UK on my doorstep. But they batter lowered cars iv lived with that since 17 and im over it now.

Just re-read your whole thread again mate as was showing the missus 'the LCR with Alphards' after she saw a set on a mk5 Golf and was dribbling.

Re-reading and getting to the page with the test fit still makes me drool.

Id love you to stay static tho, no reason other than my preference BUT air is yours so I cant wait to see this.

Was looking at a set the other day, I think the shape and polished areas really set off the Red.

Good luck man

Thanks alot, my missus loves them too. Oaft these on a MK5 is my heaven thats what i wanted before the LCR, still do in a way.

I know static and low, low is a more.....'hardcore' or 'scene' way to do it but air is just such a better option for me i cant really see a down side IMO...handling maybe but i hate the leons handling anyway its poo. With the roads round where i live low on coilovers would be just stupid.

Air makes sense for loads of reasons mate, I'm finally going to itch the coilover bug in the next week or so.

I found I hated the leon's handling so much until the whiteline rear ARB went on, feels solid now and is a joy (maybe even over my R32!)
