A few months ago I noticed I had an air con pipe come off. Bottom left hand side of the engine beside the aux belt. I pushed the pipe back on but not happy with it, doesnt seem to secure at all so think a clip or something could be broken?
Also, the pipe has a unhealthy looking kink in it. When i had the bumper off for my fmic i had a good look and couldnt see anywhere that it should be fixed too. Puzzling me as to why the pipe came off too.
I shall get a pic up in the next hour if someone could have a look at theirs too? Its a 07 fr tdi. Going to vw garage today too to see if they can shed some light on it

Can see the wierd angle of the pipe at the bottom where it comes up, looks like it should be fixed at the bottom.

Next pic you can see the fitting which had came off and just pulls off easily with one hand (maybe cause theres no pressure creating a seal either)

These pipes should not just pull off with or without system pressure in them, yes, go to Seat and see if they can sort things before your A/C system becomes toast with moisture and dirt getting into it.

Mind you, as your are further North than me, maybe you have not got a need for A/C!!

Pipes on just now although dont know how long it had been off for, was during winter I noticed it. Jist been told on another forum that you can get a quick release coupling repair kit which is a boost and exactly what I need. Heres hoping a good Service gets it going again and the compressors ok! Just need to see where its supposed to mount to now to remove the kink. If i can order the kit il get it posted and save a trip to the dealers as usually its a waste of time and youve to go back again for it to be booked in for repair
