gonna get my wheels done like that, and a refurb too!

I done my 4 callipers on my SC and just used a brush, but I painted mine a boring black. Much better than they were but I will be looking to doing them again soon possibly silver? I don't know. They look nice red mate, my SC is the same colour as yours and the red looks nice! I may do mine red soon ;)

In the process of painting my calipers and when it comes to cleaning them it's a pain in arse can you paint over or have to clean them till get silver

you want them as clean as possible before painting or they'll look a mess and the paint wont stick properly.
I used a cordless drill with wire brush attachment to get the almost clean and some wet/dry to finish off before cleaning with brake cleaner

Couple of pics of the finished product looks much better!
