Would you say its worth getting stage 2? I've got stage 1 at the mo with tbe and IK and its fab just wondering if stage 2 makes more of a difference?

Well to be honest my car was running boost 6 timing 5 fuel 9 on stage1 and went extremly well. After stage 2 I was disapointed and after talking to Revo ended up running boost 8 timing 5 fuel 9 and yeah it was slightly more powerful than stage1 but if I had run boost 8 on stage 1 would it have been the same?
Would I do it again well for £60 prob yeah but only if you have a sps to play with your own setting.
When I left the dealer with stage 2 on my car was slower than when it went in and a few others have said this too.
If your happy now leave it

I am happy with it, I would like it to be a little bit quicker so would you say its worth changing things like the fuel pump, DV, Inter cooler ect?

Well I had a rev d valve turbo back milltek a forge twintake and an S3 intercooler.
Oh and I replaced my clutch and flywheel when it started slipping after 3000 miles of Revo.
I know what its like you always want more.
So just go for it mate.

I have a tfsi I Leon and was wondering if the cluch was good for 260bhp impressive figures tho. Would you recommend revo over custom code ??

im not tempted by stage 2 . . .

but i want a front mount, i know if i go stage one then i will upgrade the DV, i currently have the Spacer, and im already saving for a full milltek turbo back - de cat, and induction! so im going to have to end up needing it anyway...oh what a shame! lol.

im right by thinking, if i get Stg 1 - on stock items.
upgrade to my milltek, twincooler and itg - then its only a bump up price to pay for stage 2 to run it? or is it the full whack for it again ?

I'm running 285 bhp on mine with what ive got (some say it's a bit of a high reading) and the clutch has been fine on me so far, it's been about a year since my remap tbe and IK and still feels strang and pulls well. I think I'd be right in saying that the standard clutch would be ok with stage 2 maybe 2+ depending on how much torque you have as thats the killer.

Well i had stage 1 and extras done with AmD and a stage 2 is £120 so I dont see why they would charge you again as they would have to wipe the ECU/PCM again anyway and start from scratch to get the best performance from your car with what its running with, but I may be wrong

Awesome charge £60 to go from stage 1 to stage 2 but another £65 for rolling road setup (optional)

oh wicked !

i just need to find someone decent down my neck of the woods that do Revo!
my mate just handed his notice in at his place, so no point me travelling 100 miles to go see him anymore lol.

Dearnie, What year is your car - cant quite make it out on the pics.

I am guessing its the later EA888 engine as a stage1 remap is much better than it used to be on the earlier TFSI lump. Revo claim, 270hp and around 315ft.lb and mid-range they are much more potent than the older TFSI lumps.

Changing gear .. thats where DSG comes in handy!
