I would if only the vents in it matched up with the bumper better, same issue with the LCR one on ibizas unless you mod two toether like a few people have done
North Staffs, I wasn't going to as I've not done any mods to the engine, could get some cool pics though I guess. I might swing by depends what I'm doing on the day
Things I've learnt:
- don't use the tape from B&M the foam absorbs water and then loses stickyness. Going to get some good 3M or no more nails stuff soon.
Some guides I saw suggest using screws, I wanted to see how it held first before making holes in the bumper but my car is too low to do it without jacking it up anyway!
as I couldn't find any that looked stronger and was black locally, being black will also save having to permanent marker the edge like I did on this stuff haha
Got my splitter stuck on a little better with some tape from ebay I'm not 100% happy with it so will probably reapply it when it's a little warmer.
I've made the decision to not get any more stickers for the rear window so future ones will have to replace what is there lol
Just before christmas I started trying to correct the swirl marks beginning with the bonnet, but after washing, de-tarring, claying and learning how to use the polisher I was running out of light, so I just gave the whole car a going over with Dodo Lime Prime, followed by a coat of Hard Candy Wax.
The Lime Prime applied by machine really brought out the gloss so I was happy even though I didn't get rid of the swirls. Today I cleaned and gave a second coat of wax:
Got an RARB for christmas, so I'll have to get round to fitting it soon and I will have another go at swirl correction come spring time
Very nice car, looks nice and shiny! Makes me want a red FR next.
That splitter looks very good, actually think I prefer it to the usual LCR one. Great pictures too btw!
