How do I know what is done to my car?

Its definitely not a standard exhaust, although it may not be miltek.

If the EGR pipe is unplugged and you have no light, its definitely got some kind of map.

As said though, pictures won;t really help much.

Hmm, from what I was told this exhaust it part of the Aero kit....
I will attach a picture of a standard aero like mine

After reading this thread earlier I did a lot of research into this car, it was hard work but I am pretty happy in saying that the pink stickers should output between 13-20 bhp extra, depending on whether you have applied them over a clean windscreen or a partially scrubbed one on a poor weather day. I'll keep researching for you though mate

that or the M3 was ragged from day 1 without any servicing and runs like manure

I blame it in feeling fast because of the torgue but not actually being that fast.. Id like to know who was driving the m3 mustve been a 300 yr old dude. I had a 330d msport not solong back and that felt really fast it was mapped ran 225bhp but used to kill most things off a standing start due to being a sports auto rear wheel drive and loads of torgue.

1 Top Engine Mount (Snapped)
Rear brake light wiring (Cable dead)
Front right caliper stuck on
Strong smell of diesel under the bonnet.
And to Identify my turbo

Cant wait to get it back!

Ouch i could wait for the bill

Your going to need to tell your insurance ASAP something about the mods. The fact your running a non standard exhaust will prob stop them paying a claim. You know what they are like when it comes to shelling out, anything to get out of it.

Yeah bill is going to be nice lol,

I believe my exhaust is standard, the actual exit is about 2.5 inches with a big tip.
I've seen other pictures of pre-facelift aero and they have the same exhaust?
There is no writing engraved on the exhaust and the cat is still there.
I need to look more into it first to be fair.

I hope she paid you to take it away 0.o

and I just remembered I knew someone who owned an M3 replica, there was no way to tell - even the interior was done - yet under the bonnet was a 320d
so unless they're your friends it shows you can't really ever be sure

And no, didn't buy it like it, just bad luck! Although the mount was dodgy.
