Aero Wiper Blades

I've noticed that in the recent bad weather that my wiper blades are rather poor. The passenger one has started to split.

I've came across these

Now that's interesting, I thought that only mk4 golf aero wipers would fit.

Carew - these will fit fine and be better than the OEM wipers, have been using this type for a few years now and last ages aswell
I have just changed mine to a full aero wiper arms & blades from a mkIV Golf, so far so good

Big Eck - these are the retro fit which use the same clip arrangement as the OEM wipers (arm with the 'J' end)

I just wanted to check because some were 21 and 18 and others were 21 and 19.

Take the 21" and 18" - 18" Clung better to the windshild and doesn't dries up at the end.

Yeah, I'll agree with this and they will sit better on the screen

I bought ones from ebay around the same price, from mrsilicone and they were cack! Noisey as hell so they got binned within a few days!

I'll give the others a shot from aceparts. For the cost of them, they're worth the gamble.

have had these cheap type blades before, always worked ok the cheap tesco ones most of the time but often had parts of the screen they didn't clear and i had the adapter broke in the rain. They are worth a punt when cheap though if they miss the screen a bit if you can bend them a bit.

Yeah I thought thet were worth the gamble at the time.

They came in blue/yellow comline packaging.

Let us know how you get on with the blades from AceParts.

Bosch do them as well but there about £25 iirc, they did last 2-3 years though

Put the Bosch ones on 2 weeks ago and what a difference, no noise no matter how dry the window is!

Got them from Autoparts.

Well just an update.

In the end I went for neither of the above options.

Now may get some stick for this. Went into lidls lastnight after work and got a set of flat windscreen wipers for £13.

Fitted them this morning. Great fit. No noise.

I bought some of the retrofit aero blades from Allparts for £4.50 a blade. Great price, great product. Think they are 21" and 19" and they fit great.

Yep paid about £25 for my Bosch aero wipers. Had them about 2 years now, there stil very effective and no noise, there still like the day I put them on.

I want retrofit aero wiper blades on my 2003 seat leon. After reading all the posts above I couldnt find some of the ones mentioned..... can anyone please give me a reliable seller with reliable wiper blades please?

Also I would like to change my rear wiper too. Can anyone recommend a decent wiper blade?

Theres a link above for the lidl ones I've fitted. They're great at clearing your windscreen.

For the rear, I went for a skoda fabia rear wiper. Fitted 3 years ago and still going strong.
