are amk engines fitted with egt ?

i'm curious to no are the early 210 cupra r's (amk) fitted with egt or is it just bam engines ?

AMK got EGT sensors but not until midway through it's life, some early AMK LCRs don't have it but I'm told that most do. Your S3 might not have though.

I've got a 52 plate LCR and can confirm mine's got an Exhaust Gas Temp sensor - I know this as it keeps throwing me a fault code intermittently, must get round to checking the wiring to it sometime!

I think its the K04-022 without EGT and -023 with EGT, maybe a few early press release cars on 22's but more common in S3's and TT's i assume

I have had 7 AMK engine'd Cupra R's in my possession in the past year, all of which have had an EGT sensor.

Think the early TT's / S3 didn't, but looks like the vast majority (if not all) Cupra R's do have an EGT sensor.

Seven?! That must be a record, I know of a few members who've had 2 LCRs but never as many as seven!

Including the three BAM engine'd LCR's the total is ten!!!

There is a reason for that, but unfortunately due to changes that have taken place on this forum over the past year (for sale section) I can't say too much!

Put it this way if you ever need anything for your LCR, let me know........
