Anyone had this problem before?

Basically my drivers door is mis aligned. It closes absolutely fine but you have to slam it. The door has like dropped down when it is opened. When it is closed its fine and is aligned etc. however that's because it's on the lock metal part.

Any common problems?

Thanks!

had the exact same problem, i had to move the hinge on the b pillar slightly. However the door doesnt quite sit flush (from side view) but its shut, since this you can hear the wind noise really bad. Think i need to adjust on the front hinge now.

Seems to be a common fault, I have noticed my latch (on the car, not door) as signs of wear where its been catching the latch on the door so something is up there. Wasnt like that before either, will try some of the things mentioned in this thread. I didnt think anything of it when I noticed it

Just bend them...

Only just open door (so only open by say 4-6") then put both hands under the bottom rear edge of the door.. and lift. You may want to have a rag or gloves on to reduce the pain .. but you can bend the hinges enough to realign the door. This works on most cars unless you are in G Wagons, Rollers, old Lancias etc. .. and certainly would work on the Ibiza. And be gradual.. i.e. bend and try, bend and try.

Probably a bad driver/passenger who leans on door as they get out...
