Plugged a cable from my iPod into the Aux socket and I'm only getting sound out of the passenger side speakers (same if I use my phone) is this normal?

Did all the Cupras come with the iPod attachment? There doesn't seem to be anything under the seats.

Its a 2007 cupra which I've just picked up :)

Edit - the aux is sorted, if I push the plug right in, I only get left speakers, if I pull it out a notch, I get all speakers.
Not a perfect solution, as I'm used to having proper iPod controls with my soda, guess I'll have to look at some solutions

No, it was an option.

I get this when the cable is not fully inserted, tried a different cable?

3.5mm jacks arent all the same, especially phone ones because they handle calls / inline remote etc

just get a basic one and ull be grand.

It was just a basic one from Maplins. I've just dumped my MP3's on a CD and use that until I decide on whether to replace the headunit.
