right as i've explained somewhere else in a thread my car wont rev past 5k and it stutters bubbles under like acceleration... well went mates garage after work fiddled with rotor arm and distributer but still wouldnt budge past 5k,
so he stuck it on diagnostics & the following faults came up:
00515 Hall sensor - G40 (signal over tolerance/sp)
00522 Sensor for coolant temperature - G62 (OPN/SHT to positive/SP)
00520 Air mass/Flow meter - G70/G19 (OPN/SHT to ground/SP)
so he erased the codes that came up started the diagnostics again and nothing came up... so tried again and all that came up again was the hall sensor :/
still stuttering n bubbling under acceleration but then it started revving past 5k to 6k! so we was like result
but once i started driving again on the road it still revved to 5k :/
the only place i think about taking the car now is awesome gti in irlam but they charge £60 labour an hour :/
