Probably going to get flamed for this, but punt the ibiza and use your 10k to get something like an evo 9 or similar.

Hit the magic 300 mark no bother and no need for buying parts or worrying about traction :D

I wouldn't be seen dead in an Evo! :) I'd much rather pump money into the Cupra and have a complete sleeper :D

Lots of useful information here lads thank you do much! Garry I'll no doubt be texting you at some point to get more info on some stuff if that's ok with you?

I can manage 60mpg with just shy of 300 bhp.

Dont listen to petrol idiots who don't have a clue :p

Clutch - 1k
Diff - 700
Gtb2260vk (forget hybrid, honestly) plus all the bits to fit it - 2k
Rods - 700
Intercooler piping - 200
map - 500

Then run a genuine 250-260. If u want More in future, head cam and injectors will see the magic 300 mark

Don't get me wrong, I've seen 7mpg before too lol.

But if it's properly mapped, driving off boost will be the same as a standard car.

Ive only had one diesel and that was a 330d msport...i got on average 21mpg out of it!( but my god it used to fly was faster then anything off the lights lol and i thought our st220 was quick in a straight line lol bet your ibiza feels rapid, well i supose with that power it is.

The little circle with the line through is a greek letter, it is the symbol they use for average :)

The 1 is the trip and runs from each time you start and resets when it is off for over 1 hour.

The 2 runs until you get to 9999 miles or 999 hours or if you reset it manally by holding I think the lower button. I reset this for every fill up just so I know what I'm getting per tank.

So you can have the miles done, average speed, average mpg and time driving for both 1 and 2, which you can change between by pressing the lower button when on one of those screens

Enough mpg chat! This is about power!!

What about sticking the forge SS style on, fully welded end tanks and tested to 3 bar if I remember right, possibly more.

Ah :)

Could also be this maybe?

"In German-speaking countries, Ø is also used as a symbol for average value: average in German is Durchschnitt, directly translated as cut-through."

Since, SEAT are part of VAG, which is German?

Cool never knew that :) when I've seen it before it's never had anything to do with average usually called "theta" and refers to an angle or circle diameter. Cheeky germans lol

Yeah it is the Greek symbol theta but it can be used to describe an angle or an average :)

As for the intercooler I think I'd rather have one custom made :) then donate the Cupra one to her FR. She doesn't realise how many free mods she'll be getting out of this haha

Someone on briskoda got an uprated core welded into the SS intercooler so you already have the correct dimensions etc?
