love the car man, first suggestion's lower it and take off the heat shield on the bonnet looks so much better, and the chatter from the filter will be more noticeable, but once again love the car :)

Looking good mate, do I spy a set of recaros

2 quick observations, get rid of the carpet under the bonnet and get rid of the BMC CDA its too restrictive ;)

thanks, yea it has front recaros :) wish they did the rear in the 225 tho.

i was thinking of removing the carpet under the bonnet, is the bmc cda realy that bad? i red good things about it,and i loved it on the v6 4motion i had.

and laggo i wont be lowering it ive had my fair share of lowered cars and the splitter catches on everything as it is.

They're no good on these engines mate, you'd be better off with a modded airbox and a green cotton panel filter.

I said exactly the same about lowering mine. To make the car handle better I uprated the front arb, fitted a rear arb and fitted front and rear upper strut braces. I still ended up lowering it. Being on here, lets see how long you last ;)

ok mate,al have a look into it and see what happens, i wont be lowering it that a deffo no no, the other half drives it to work in the week and shel endup ripping the bumper off! i just want it to look good and go well and still be able to use it day to day without thinking which roads i can go down.

not 2 sure was thinking up near the bulkhead near the dv sumwhere, anywhere you recomend?

also you no of any cheap or free engine mods to do? cant afford expensive stuff at the min.

Probably be better off with one like this if your fitting it there (same as my old one, I think EL has the same aswell).

N249 bypass is fairly cheap to do.

Are you removing the PCV system when you fit the catch can?

hmm, ok mate. tbh mate i havnt realy read into it, am i better off removing it? is there a guide on here.

i did the bypass yesterday.

whats difference between the 1 i was thinking of and that 1 mate, apart from the shape.
