I have a few spacers so I could try before i got spacers i needed , thinking about going 11mm on the front , 235 might be ok mate trail and error I think wack them on and see what clearance you have with no spacers they may go on its my tyre that caught on the coilover adjuster not the rim

Well...

Test fitted today and tbh it didn't go too well. I apologise in advance as some pictures are well blurry. (was cold).
First of all a nice surprise to get my hopes up.

Now for the fronts!! (new post)

Fronts

The front didn't go well at all, out of about 8/8.5 turns to tighten a new I could only manage about 4ish.

I could't fit the fronts on properly as they hit the suspension.
It's worth mentioning that these pics are the front wheel with no load on it ie. floating around.

Whats the best way to measure for spacers now then?! It's hard to make the wheel sit flush with no spigot rings either!

You need a tyre on there as the tyre will rub on the coilover adjuster , your going to need serious stretch tho to get it in the arch do you know any one you can borrow some off to test fit

Nah mate not really. Was thinkin about goin to a shop or garage see if they could masure it up...Clutchin at straws basically

dont forget your jacked right up in the air, the wheel will camber more the lower it goes, my 9s dont poke out that much i dont think. backs need to poke more :) also you are going to have to run a 215 wide tyre for the fronts.

There's no way I want less tyre hitting the roads than whats standard, that completely misses the point! What about going down from 40 to 35 instead?!

Your going to deffo run stretched tyres. I am having to go 215 35 19 and My wheel is flush ti the arch. Bur will need rolling. If a golf mk 4 can fit a 9j rim on the front the Leon deffo can as the Leon is about 8mm wider than a golf. You will be ok with a 9j but will be very tight
