Indeed mate :)

Tried and tested setup and I drove El's car at the weekend which really impressed me the way it stopped.

Can't wait to get the setup on now.

Hope these weeks go quick for you James, I know that car is going to be insane when you get it back I'm sure!!!

I really hope they go quick as well, but I've got a terrible feeling they won't. I'm trying to forget about the car but it's just not working!!! [:@] Going to try and get more involved in my fitness over the next few weeks to try and take my mind off it. It doesn't help that it's a glorious day and I'm thinking how many M3's I could be pissing off right now

We'll have to have a meet up once it's back, your not that far from me.

You’ll be stopping in no time with a setup like that :)

I run DS2500s on standard discs and the stopping power is pretty damn good cold and hot, you won’t regret them.

It's a top choice mate. You have done your research and also been in a car with this set up and obviously your impressed :)

Get it sorted dude. The only reason I drive like a hooligan is because I have confidence in the car knowing it will stop!

No you're a hooligan... with good brakes ;)

This is true!

 Ahh well I ain't going to deny it

Knows it! ;)

You need to feel my brakes el :)

But not the price of the pads lol no one is feeling that haha..

They do look serious though and must stop well..

Yeah it's a great setup mate perfect for my use of the car. Can't wait to get it all sorted :)

Yes mate we will have to catch up once you get the car back! Sounds good. :)

Just lashed out £350 on my new brake setup!

-EBC Ultimax Grooved Discs.
-Ferodo DS2500's.
-Motul RBF660 brake fluid x2 for a full change.

Should be much better than what I have now..

Because I'm not driving like I stole it anymore lol. I'm not planning on stomping on the brakes from silly speeds or tracking the car so the pagids are more than enough I think.

Fair enough mate :)

I don't drive mine during the week much, only to the gym but it's such a short journey the car doesn't warm up so I never boot it... Lol, plus want to make the petrol last :ban:

But at the weekends I give it stick and get in the odd tussle, so these brakes are a must for me ;)

must be nearly complete now Tom?....all you need is the bushes.

Far from it mate!

Bushes are on the menu for sure, new FMIC, clutch upgrade and LSD to name a few changes that I want done before the year is out ;)

Going to Ibiza with my mates in August so the car won't see much spending from now till after then. I've got insurance up in 2 weeks so that's that till September for car mods!

I may sneak in a couple but Ibiza isn't a cheap lads holiday...

cough LSD cough

Oh yes! And the front ARB still to do. I want all handling mods on by the end of the year.

Cough agreed cough

Lol stop coughing mate! I will get it done just not for a while as above..

eeewwww stop coughing near us, cover your mouths

:cartman:
