hi, i have just ordered a new exeo se tech in track grey and have a few questions which hopefully you can help me with.

the car i had on test drive had a pioneer sat nav unit, is this standard on new models?
when you look on the website the exeos have new style alloys? are new cars now coming with these?
can anyone tell me what the set switch is for behind the aux flap next to the hand brake, i never had the manual with the demo car?

I've got to wait until July to get the car so won't be able to find this out till then otherwise..

thanks for your help...

The Pioneer was fitted when there were supply issues with the OEM unit due to the Japanese earthquake/tsunami. Not sure if this has been resolved yet. I think it has, but someone with an Exeo will hopefully confirm.

You'll get the RNS-E nav/audio unit fitted - the Pioneer units were fitted on week 25 to 36 (or something) builds as above.

The button you refer to is related to the tyre pressure sensors.

New models should come fitted with 17" 'Elegance' alloys, which are the multi-spoke jobs, the previous ones were a sort of split 5-spoke.

Thanks for the replys...

i guess the week 25 to 36 was 2011 then?

i used to have a old mondeo and there used to be secret routines to turn things on and off, like anti high jack central locking. is there any such things like that for the Exeo?

Yes, there is software called VAG-COM or VCDS as it is now known. the software is free but an interface cable will cost you about £200. It will give you all the functionality that the main dealers have as well as loads of info about how it all works and how to do stuff in the SCN diagnostics section. I have a cheapo ebay interface that I paid £20 for and it used to work spot on 100% with my old 2008 Leon but the Exeo doesn't like it. The Exeo only seems to work with the real deal interface cable.

Unless anyone knows different...........................
