Bought a headunit yesterday

It arrived this morning :|

Headunit fitted, went straight in no adapter or anything needed. For now i have just crammed the DAB arial in behind the headunit, still gets a good signal but will be moving it to a better place on the weekend.

I need to sort the DAb arial out properly, ill do that this weekend.

Routed the dab aerial today from the headunit to the drivers door, up the rubber seal to to roof lining then along to where middle of the windscreen. Perfect dab signal with no interference and I can hardly see the aerial

Serviced the forge 007 valve today. New piston, seals and spring (green)

All cleaned up

Built back up

Not very good pics but you get the idea of what the DAB aerial looks like and how I've ran it

Up the door pillar and into the headlining

Out of the headlining in the centre of the windscreen (above the rear view mirror)

Its a small black plastic thing, about an inch wide with 2 long clear strips with a wire inside from each end

Can't see it at all when driving.

I have also moved the headunit down to right above the climate control and moved the holder part up to remove the gap that was left.

This will shortly be filled with music and left plugged into the headunit

Replaced front arb bushes today. Easy job but fiddly as ****

I hate you, you could have given me a heads up lol

Drivers side was fine, fiddly but fine.

Passenger side sucked. Gearbox was in the way so couldn't get the ratchet, had to use a spanner that took ages to get the nuts out lol

Gearbox oil changed today, noise practically gone, only drove a few miles with it so far though.
