Hi all, so its good were having all this rain apart from the massive lake that has appeared in my rear passenger footwell!!!. Its taken 2 towls to dry up!!!
I cant see where it has come from either, unless it has leaked from behind the inside plastic trimming has anyone else had this? #oviously
Its not from the pollen filter in frunt, it must be from the window regulator seal has anyone got a guide to fix this cheers.

i had this problem last year and all 4 foot wells were like swimming pools.

i found that its the seal on the doors at the bottom of the windows. it run downs the window and through the inside of the doors.

i managed to get a metal skewer and cloth down and cleaned it out which sort my problem

been using your washers a hell of a lot then to make a lake.Mine needs the seals doing too.

hi i fixed the rear washer pipe, it was disconnected from boot and the rear connector. But sadly the rear footwell is still leaking very bad, I was wondering about the pollen filter that could be the issue

Not been ignorant but these guys are telling u what the issue is and how to fix it and your still trying to guess what it is yourself.

Just done this. My rear foot well had an 1" of water in it. Siliconed the rear inner panel. No change. Leak was in the front door. All OK now.

where is the pollen filter....? - under the bonnet.
unless the front passenger footwell is a pond and that is getting to the back it aint the pollen filter.

Yeh i only suggested that because i rang the dealer for advice and thats what they said???
but i did check and it was in need of repair and a new filter but i dont get much leak in frunt?

Im guessing its the front or rear door. MALC B where did you silicone the doors? did you take the inside door card of?

cheers

i had this problem, i followed a guide that i found on this forum.... just basically took of the door cards for the front doors and cleaned them down, i bought some gasket seal (Silicone sealant) ran it around where the foam used to be and this sorted out my front and back puddles! liturally took about 30 minutes to do a good job :) im happy car doesnt smell like a damp dog anymore

So its not actuallt the rubber seal's then, its the one behind the big metal panel behind door card?
