sorry people I could not resist the temptation..... only another 8 weeks to go untill I can take delivery of my new leon

I'l like a big kid at the moment, I'm driving my mum and nan and all of my mates mad by counting down every few days!!!!! I just want the 20th july to come soooooo quick now

Cant wait to have a 5 door car now, my mum is getting very ill now and my nan is not getting any younger and to see her get in and out of my current 3 door astra sport hatch is breking my heart and driving me mad as she has to get in behind me all the time when my mum is in the front passengers seat

cant wait the car we are having is the leon 1.6 tdi se copa in black god its going to be a very long 8 weeks :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

i take it its not just me been a big kid waiting for a new car???

I'm sure the wait will be worth it . It is nice having 5 doors tbh . 1.6tdi should be nice and Economical -very sensible .
best of luck with it .

i do hope so, its motability for my mum and i'm the main driver. I wanted a diesel becuase my astra is a 1.6 and town driving i'm only getting 29.7mpg :(. But hopefully by the end of the year I should have a decent graduate job and might be up and down the motorway a lot so the 1.6 tdi was the only way forward, and because I'm under 25 (im 24) motability will only allow drivers under 25 to have cars with 115bhp or less and the 1.6 tdi was 105. And with the se copa having so much kit it was a no brainer really

Pictures when you get it ok thanks :D

dont worry volts there will be lots of pics the day i pick her up :)

Took delivery of mine just over a week ago and it's FANTASTIC!! The toys on it are brilliant and for a 1.6 it's definitely nippy.

You will not be disappointed :)

hey hockey guy, yeah i saw the pics, looks sweet!! I was hoping someone would say that 1.6 is nippy i was worried it would not be

silly question to ask from someone who has an IT degree, but is the MFD easy to use and navigate? also how loud is the stereo and bluetooh in the car, only asking this as i have a hearing problem and its hard for me sometimes to actually hear the car radio and to hear people on the phone

You shouldn't have too much with the radio and phone volume as both can be adjusted to be quite high.

The MFD is brilliant, and one of the highlights is the compass and navigation instructions which show up if you are currently using the satnav system for guidance.

As mentioned before, you will not be disappointed by it :)

sound nice one, i'm glad about that, i couldnt really blast the radio out in the showroom, i would of most probs got kicked out and told never to go back again until i pick the car up hehe

i have to admit i cant wait to get to grips with the MFD especially the compass and navigation!!!

well i do hope i wont be disapointed a bit worried from going from 115hp to 105hp in the leon but im sure i wont find it too much of a difference

I came from a 2.0 PD140 to this, and whilst I always knew it was never going to set the world alight with its speed, I am pleasantly suprised with the nippiness of the 1.6 unit.

The best way I can describe it is that it carries a refined change of pace, without being aggressive.

hey tom. I just cant wait to get it now :) soooo sooo excited

Placed an order for an FR+ 2.0 TDI (CR 170) in Furia Grey earlier this week, coming from a little Citroen C2 it'll be a heck of a change. SEAT had it in stock apparently, all goes well I can take delivery in a fortnight! :D

Now to work out what I'm going to do to it, list so far:

- LED Sidelights & DRL
- Chrome Window Switches & Mirror Knob
- GTI Pedals
- Mudguards

Am wondering about putting the armrest in too, though is it much use given you've got to lift it up every time you want to put a drink in the holder?

I didn't realise the Seat factory goes on shut down in August for the month. If you have a factory order car on order it may be delayed, I've got one being built but I think I would rather have mine on the new reg in September, will see what time span they come up with.

I know i though the same, i asked the sales guy why but he said they do it every year, i thought with september being a busy month i thought they would be really busy but with it only being the uk that have 2 new regs a year i doubt it makes much diff to them.
