At the time of those clamps being done i was concentrating on breathing and not being sick
Found it quite easily yesterday, luckily the bumper stopped it blowing off completely

I've ordered myself a 007 refurb kit and a yellow spring this morning. Since fitting the intercooler the cars been dumping randomly, I presume as it can't hold the higher boost.

Unfortunately the wheels are not goin to be done for inters but that can't be helped, damned unexpected bills :(

Had my little package arrive from forge today, my refurb kit and new spring for my 007p.

Looks good, just got to find time to fit it now.

I took my car to a mates garage today for an oil change.

While up on the ramps I took the opportunity to check out under the car.
Well to much disappointment I have a split CV boot, nothing really new there, I need 2 new tyres thanks to severe uneven wear and finally I have absolutely knackered rear beam bushes. All need doing for my MOT next month :(

Ouch. On the plus side you have an excuse for poly bushing now :)

Yeah get it done dude, you wont regret it at all.

With regards to the DV servicing kit, yeah it does only take 10 minutes but (i know you probably wont) but do not over grease the piston as it will stick. That little pouch of red grease should last you ages. Only need a tiny bit of grease on the seals and even less on the piston.

Lovely car

Sorry mate only just seen this post I'll get that sorted in the next couple of days.

I've had a couple of problems in the last week, my MAF died in a top fashion so had to replace that. Also kept blowing a boost hose, so me and Tim ended up taking the pipe work off of the drivers side and re-flaring the pipes to stop them blowing off.

One broken down car :(

And the new MAF

Since doing that the car pulls really smooth, guessing the MAF has been dodgey for a while.

Next this month is polybushing the rear beam and getting 2 new front tyres ready for my MOT at the end of the month :)

The first of the polybushing began today.

With my MOT coming up and the rear beam bush being in desperate need of replacing I set about the mission of doing it! 9hours later it was finished.

The rear beam dropped.

The bushes were literally falling apart.

And finally in.

I've gotta say I'm so glad Tim came over to help, I was going to do it on my own but I would'nt have been able to in reflection.

2 new tyres have just been ordered as my fronts are pushing the boundries of a MOT tester.

Ill be getting them fitted ASAP and having my MOT done then start bushing the front end. Its been slow progress lately with a change of jobs thrown in and other bits and bobs going on but time to get back on track!
