I like the second video. Bet the tanker driver got worried, seeing and hearing the bang. If you ever want to do a UK conversion I know a Red cupra that could do with being AWD.

They got a bit confused any way in the

C'mon mYGel, we all REALLY need to see some more road-going video of this superb project. I almost wish I had a lottery win just to be able to do this as a hobby!

Well you can use that also :) My parts come from Audi S3, Supercopa first fueltank was from R32 so you could use parts from them all. :)

Looking good, any further updates?

yeah it is progressing :) just that i have had quite much at work and so forgott to upload Pics :p

mYGeL, what exact issues do you have with your engine? Is it running rich? What was the cause to it?

I had an issue with the Oil nipple on the Turbo as i overtorqued it so it leaked oil :p
that is fixed now and then i have had a blown gasket betven manifold and Wg fixed. But now it has started to leak there again so i ordered a new on and will try to mount it much better this time :)

Well we couldnt finish the mapping of the car before and i had to fix all small issues before we can continue and do the mapping. So it runs a bit rich now and smokes little black on full throttle. :p

but now probably this week we can find time for dyno and mount the Sorensen/Hep Stage 2 Intake manifold. and change the gasket and do the mapping :)

Well i can uppload some pics :)

here is the overtorqued nipple to Oil feed :p
haha hard as hell to get out as can bee seen on it :p But now a new is mounted and no damage so thats good :)

then on the way to a Carshow/stripp event i had to brake hard for some deers on the road.
So my new Pirelli p-zeros wasnt so good anymore... :p
All 4 looked like this..
464609_10150803749395168_1698829921_o.jpg

But i drove the 500km there but didnt drive the strip because of the tyres..
but atleast i won a price :)

So had to get new tyres. The Pirelli P-Zero trofeo R wanst in stock this time in my dimension so I got a set of Pirelli P-Zero Corsa Dirrecionale threadwear 60 instead :)

also i couldnt let go of the Intake manifold as i first ordered a stage 2 but because of delivery time i Took a stage 1+. And then a couple of weeks after i got it but didnt mount it the stage 2 came back in stok. so my friend bought my intake and ive ordered a stage 2 again :)

Of course we leaved it to my coater.
for some special coating with TDC: Thermal Dispersant coating on full body.
but on flange against the engine where much of the heat come from we coated with TBC: Thermal Barrier Coating

Small update :)

Got tired that only one Fuellevelsensor was connected.
So tought it was finally time to solve that :)

The pins used for the second level sensor was empty so had to get new cables with pins and attach them in right place.

i was a little afraid it shouldnt work as the Instrument isnt a AWD instrument and so.
But it worked after Reprogramming the car and instrument as a AWD car with VAG VAS computer :)

Also thought it was time to get the Intake manifold mounted..

before start:

Bought new pinbolts so the intake is only boulted with them insted of bolts and pinbolts..
thought it would be easier so..

Also changed thegasket betven WG and Exhaust manifold as i thought it was blown.
but it wasnt but put a new one anyway.
So i think either One of the Lamda sensor are leaking or in the Vband connection betven Turbo and Downpipe??

have to fix that soon... :censored:

Also visited Gatebil in mantorp park.

Your thread makes me think of further modifications not good =)

I wonder if the speed when braking to avoid the deer was according to Swedish standards...

Have you got a pin out wiring diagram for the instrument cluster?

I was wondering how you knew which pins to go for.

Also, I'm not quite sure exactly what it is you have done lol, didn't your fuel gauge work before?

will get that for you if you need it :)

it worked but the AWD fueltank has 2 fuellevel sensors one on each side.
FWD fueltank only has one. so had to connect the second one to instrument cluster to get the reading from the second one.

before even with full tank and only one sensor connected even with full tank it showed a maximum of half tank :)

Next project is to connect the TOG sensor.

and already have the Connector. So should be done soon..
Also will be getting my Polarfis back from Warranty soon so will be nice to have the oiltemp/level etc directly in FIS :)

Michel, if you get the TOG to work I would be forever in your debt lol.

I don't seem to be able to get the TOG Sensor to read a temperature. Not sure if I have missed anything in coding but it doesn't work on my car.
