Cheers guys. Really pleased with them, was going to get spacers this month but I've spent loads on DIY stuff this week so it'll have to wait until pay day.

Still waiting for my carbon badges. Should have arrived by now, will have to chase them up.

How much were the wheels James? When I had my tyres done recently the muppets chipped some paint off!!! All they need is painting (no kerbing at all)
Cheers

They were £280 for four wheels, but this was a tyre off refurb, hence the price. :)

So cheaper normally? Who you go with again? Spit and polish?

Mine need doing ASAP.

That's the going rate for a "proper" refurb, you can get the cheaper roadside style refurb but you get what you pay for imo. As long as i look after them i wont need to ever paint them again.

I got them done locally at a place called wheelwerx, cant recommend them enough. :)

As the weather was so nice i thought i would give the car a much needed clean.

Here's how its looked before i start..

I needed to adjust my suspension so while the wheels were off i gave them a proper clean, once they were clean i gave them a layer of super resin polish then a layer wax to seal it in.

Had a stupid moment when once of the wheels went for a ride and rolled down the slope into the garage, landing on the face of the wheel. [:@] It got loads of chips and scuffed so it'll be back into wheelwerx's this week to get fixed. As you could imagine i was annoyed with me self.

I also gave the inside a proper clean, i used some AutoGleam interior shampoo on the seats as they had a few marks on them. I was very impressed with firstly the results and second how quick and easy it was to use. Great product, highly recommended.

Any way here's how she looked a full day of cleaning....

Looks lovely mate. Sorry to hear about the mishap with the wheel. It's very annoying when things like that happen, but hopefully it won't be too expensive to fix. It always amazes me just how shiney and reflective black becomes after a good wash.

James :)

Cheers James, shouldnt be too much to sort. Im hoping that they'll do me a good price as i've only just had them done. Had a proper spaz out when it happened.. as you do. lol

As you said black gives a great reflection. So much work is needed to get it though, probably wont buy another black car again, too much hard work, certainly for a daily drive.

Looks like a brand new car mate. Top stuff. Errrr you probably have mentioned before but what wax have you used on the wheels mate?

How bad is the wheel ? might be worth chucking it in the boot and getting the spare done the same color then at least they'll all be the same color.

Thanks Mark :)

Cheers EL, nothing special just want i already had, i used NTX meguair wax. Will get something more suitable when i decide on what to get. Just wanted to protect them as soon as possible. Makes cleaning them so much easier when they have wax on them. :)

Stunning.

Makes me miss my black LCR seeing this but I know how hard they are to keep clean, and mine was a daily driver :( Black still looks the daddy when comparing 'just cleaned' LCR's imo.

Ahhhh, do miss my old one sometimes. Good work though mate, shame about the wheel, get it sorted ASAP, and don't do it again ;) Lol.
